Excellent warmth
This is my second Coldgear mock long sleeve with infrared.
It performs as expected like my first one. Very thin with great warmth and super comfortable. Highly recommend as a base layer during cold months.

Best mock neck style PERIOD.
Let’s just say up front that my wife thinks I have far too many of these UA mock neck shirts, especially in the Coldgear variety. This makes me a very good judge of the quality of the ‘tactical’ style. I have the black, white, & tan tactical style CG shirts in XL. This one is a tan in XXL.
I love the way these shorts feel against the skin. Because they are fitted, they look great & never seem to look wrinkled - provide you let them hang dry as the care instructions state. If you toss them in the dryer, it does not do good things to their longevity I learned close to 20 years ago w/ my UA hunting mocks ( they are still useful for yard work, splitting wood, & cutting up stuff w/ my chainsaw ). They’re old but warm & still servicable despite their heat seal size & back labels being lost in the dryer-thx honey!!
So, the neck … the tactical versions do have stiffer & tighter collars which can be more difficult to get on & off .. easily. The upside to these collars is they fit soooo much nicer AND have much less tendency to ‘roll’ down toward the chest while still looking cleaner & neater for the target law enforcement market. While I’m not in that job, I still appreciate the cleaner neater collar’s look.
Obviously, this shirt has the ‘stretchiness’ nearly all UA polyelastane clothing has. It also has the Infrared coating print that is claimed to ‘reflect’ your heat back into the muscles. All I can say for sure is when I have them on, regardless of the temps, I’ve never felt the cold & wind impact me negatively. Love them.
I’m 5’11”, about 210 w/ an athletic build considering I’m slightly past middle age. Wearing an XXL gives me more length to tuck it in easier & a little more freedom & less binding thru the shoulders. Chest measurement is 43”, waist is 35” & most pertinent is my wife says I have a big melon ( head ). That is how I know all these crybabies complaining about the neck being too tight are just that, whiny babies. Personal opinion cuz I bet my head is bigger than theirs. I wear a L/XL in a UA fitted hat so yeah.

Warm without constrictions
On those cold days I reach for my UA Cold Gear Moc
It keeps me warm but I’m able to move and not feel like I wrapped like a mummy just to stay warm
